ABOUT Burgess Music
Burgess Music is run by husband and wife team Tim and Zoe based on the Shotley Peninsula in Suffolk, who are musicians and educators. Burgess Music aims to support the learning of music in a fun and relaxed way alongside being able to offer engaging and personalised performances.

TIM BURGESS
B.A. Hons. PGCE BMIN
Tim began learning Piano aged 4 and Cello aged 8. He played Bass Guitar in cover bands including a 'Queen', 'Pink Floyd' and David Bowie tribute band and has toured with orchestras and theatre groups, performing in Germany, France, The Netherlands and London's West End. He has also played Bass with Swing Bands and Jazz Groups. He is a qualified classroom teacher and music examiner with experience teaching pupils of all ages.
Tim is an energetic and skilled performer and teacher and is able to motivate and inspire his listeners and students.
ZOE BURGESS
BMus. llcm td PGCE BMIn
Zoe is a Violin specialist with over 17 years of experience in teaching working with thousands of students across Essex and Suffolk. She trained at the London College of Music under Suzanne Stanzeleit and has performed all over the world with Orchestras and Quartets including with the Grand Philharmonic Orchestra for the Ambani wedding at Jio Gardens in Mumbai, India performing with A R Rahman.
Zoe also studied and teaches Classical Guitar, Recorder and Piano. She loves to share her passion with students of all ages and enjoys performing a wide range of music.
